Your first visit

What to bring and what happens when you see a doctor here for the first time.

  1. Book a time or a queue number online, or walk in early.
  2. Check in at the desk with a valid ID; you are registered once.
  3. The nurse takes your vitals while you wait.
  4. Bring your questions, your medicines and any past results.

Using your HMO

How a letter of authorization works and what you pay at the end.

  1. Check that your doctor is accredited with your HMO.
  2. Request the LOA online the day before.
  3. Bring your HMO card on the day.
  4. Pay only what the LOA does not cover.

Getting a lab test

Fasting, collection and how your results reach you.

  1. Bring the lab request your doctor gave you.
  2. For blood sugar and cholesterol, fast for 8 to 10 hours; water is fine.
  3. Results are reviewed by your doctor before they are released.
  4. A send-out test takes longer; the desk tells you when.

Seeing your doctor online

When a teleconsult is right, and how to join one.

  1. Choose a doctor with teleconsult hours and book a day.
  2. The video link comes to your mobile by text.
  3. Join from a quiet place with good light.
  4. A teleconsult is for follow-ups and questions; an exam needs a visit.
